2018 global summit initiatives

Exclusive Braintrusts with U.N. Agencies

We will be exclusively collaborating with key UN agencies to host IDEO-Style “Braintrust Workshops” on new initiatives addressing issues such as climate change, women’s rights, child safety, poverty, oceans, impact investing, big data, art & storytelling for good, crisis response and more. Registered delegates will receive additional details on these campaigns to select where they believe they can add the most value.

member-to-member

We invite all Delegates to join the Member-to-Member Initiative, a peer-to-peer mentorship program orchestrated for NEXUS members. This endeavor is intended to make the Summit experience even more impactful. Spots are limited and the application process will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here to learn more and sign up.

our greenest summit ever

We are committed to making all of our summits as green as possible. Here are some of the ways we are doing so this year:

1. 100% Plant Based – NEXUS is committed to going completely plant based in all our official meals and snacks.

2. No Plastic Water Bottles – NEXUS is providing water bottles and water stations so we can avoid using any single use plastic water bottles.

We are working on more, and it will be listed here as it is confirmed!

Biohacking Wellness Suite

Invest In Yourself at NEXUS (IY) is introducing a Wellness and Biohacking Suite for the 2018 Global Summit. Guided by the principle that sustainable social change must be rooted in personal change, IY explores powerful amplifiers of wellbeing and performance to unlock our greater potential to evolve our world. Besides, when we feel better, we’re happier and more effective, and we pay it forward!

The suite will provide opportunities to experience science-based technologies and techniques— both ancient and leading-edge— that are shifting the focus from managing disease toward optimizing health and wellness.

A powerful social movement is building around “biohacking” health in order to take charge of becoming the best possible version of ourselves. Aligned with that, we’ll share innovative technologies from pulsed electromagnetic field devices to heart coherence biofeedback tools to hands-on healing practices like acupuncture. Discover new ways to improve your wellness, or just come to recharge!
