Working Groups

NEXUS Working Groups are member led initiatives that allow NEXUS members to further pursue impact by organizing around issue areas they are passionate about. We meet each other, learn together, and then take action. Current Working Groups include:

ANIMAL WELFARE & BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION

The NEXUS Working Group on Animal Welfare & Biodiversity Conservation aims to restore a caring and respectful relationship with nature by addressing the culture of separation that currently exists.

ENERGY INNOVATION & ENVIRONMENT

Scientific studies indicate significant negative weather, natural disaster probabilities increasing and economic instability in the coming decades.The NEXUS Working Group on Energy Innovation & Environment aims to facilitate NEXUS engagement on these issues and help stabilize the climate and ecological crisis.

EQUAL JUSTICE

We educate our members about the Criminal Justice System, the different intersectional systems that underpin it, and opportunities for transformational reform. We provide resources and collective opportunities for our members to take actions in their lives, communities, businesses, investments, and philanthropy.

FILM, MEDIA & STORY

The NEXUS Working Group on Film, Media & Story encourages its members to participate in projects that engage traditional and new forms of storytelling around the world to harness the power of film to change the world.

Human Trafficking

The NEXUS Working Group on Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery aims to mobilize resources and individuals to invest in high impact solutions that address the root causes of human trafficking and combat modern slavery.

IMPACT INVESTING

The NEXUS Working Group on Impact Investing fosters a community in which the next generation of investors is encouraged to invest focusing on market return rates with empathy, inspiration, and creativity.

Invest In Yourself

Invest in Yourself at Nexus (IY) designs, facilitates and curates opportunities for NEXUS members to explore the inner dimensions of leadership and the relationship between personal and planetary regeneration/transformation.
